Who we are
CYG Partners L.L.C-FZ ("CYG Partners", "we") is a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data collected through cygpartners.com. For any question about this policy or your data, email info@cygpartners.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. Your name and email, your company and phone number if you give them, your message, the page you sent it from and the time.
- Investor and buyer network. Your name, email, firm and country, the type of investor you are, the deals, regions, sectors and ticket sizes that interest you, any notes, and your confirmation that you invest or acquire professionally.
- Email, calls and WhatsApp. What you send us and your contact details.
- Site visits. Pages viewed, the site that sent you, device and browser type, and approximate location worked out from your IP address. Google Analytics collects this only if you accept analytics cookies. Our hosting provider keeps basic visit counts and technical logs to run and protect the site.
Please don't send deal documents through the form. If we take a conversation further, we sign an NDA first and agree a secure way to share files.
How we use it
- To reply to you and discuss a possible engagement.
- If you joined the investor network, to send you anonymised opportunities that match what you told us.
- To see which pages are useful and improve the site, using Google Analytics only with your consent.
- To keep the site secure and filter spam.
- To meet legal obligations, such as identity checks when we take on a client.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising or build marketing profiles.
Who we share it with
- Providers that process data for us: Lovable (website hosting and the database behind our forms), Microsoft (our email), Google (Analytics, if you accept) and WhatsApp (if you message us there).
- Our professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it.
We never pass your details to a buyer, seller or investor without your permission.
Where it is stored
Our providers may store data outside the UAE, including in the European Union and the United States, under contract terms that protect it.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement: up to two years after our last contact.
- Investor network details: until you ask us to remove you. Every two years we check that you still want to hear from us.
- Client records: as long as the law requires, usually five years after the engagement ends.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to stop using it, or to withdraw your consent, for example to analytics cookies. Email info@cygpartners.com and we will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, these rights come from the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the EU or UK GDPR, or other laws, and you can also complain to your data protection authority.
